Carol Deminski is a New Jersey native; she currently lives in Jersey City. She has performed in America, Europe and Asia.

REPERTOIRE
Carol loves all kinds of music! She sings everything from Rock, Blues, Funk, Punk, R&B, Soul, Country all the way to American Songbook and Jazz too.

BAND LEADER
Carol leads Raise the Bar Band, a 5 piece cover band. She also leads Carol Deminski and the Little Jazz Birds, a changeable ensemble Jazz group (duo, trio, quartet, etc.).

STUDIES
Ms. Deminski has studied with Grammy Award winning vocalist Catherine Russell, pianist Jon Weber; pianist Norman Simmons (accompanist to Carmen McRae, Helen Humes and others); Grammy Nominated vocalist Roseanna Vitro; vocalist Carrie Jackson; keyboardist Radam Schwartz, and vocal technique gurus Barbara Maier and Christine Correa.

PERFORMANCES
In Manhattan, she has performed at Otto's Shrunken Head (sitting in with The Big Sticky Band), The Iridium, Dizzys Club Coca Cola, Mona's, Fat Cat, Kitano, The Rum House, Arthur's Tavern (sitting in with the Grove Street Stompers), Jimmy's 43, and Rue B. She also participates in the Cobi Narita Singers Jam.

In New Jersey, she has sung at The Black Horse Pub, George and Martha's, The Grande Saloon, Dublin Pub, Core's Tavern, Old York Cellars Winery, Iron Plow Winery, The Wooden Spoon Southern Kitchen, Ocean Place Resort, The Hutton, Calandra's "La Tavola", Groove on Grove (Jersey City), Jazz For Lunch (Jersey City), Jazz on Sloan (South Orange) - part of Downtown After Sundown, Hotel Tides, DLV Lounge, Waypoint622, The Rail at Readington, Maggie's in Ringwood, Tara's Tavern, Zupko's Tavern, The Lamp Post Inn, The Priory, Glen Rock Inn, Colts Neck Inn, St. Moritz Grill, Moores (aka Bill & Ruth's), Blue Moon (South Amboy), Crossroads, Robin's Nest Rhythm & Blues, Mount Holleran Towne Tavern, The Old Bay and elsewhere.

In New Orleans, Carol has performed at The Little Gem Saloon (CBD), The Starlight (French Quarter), The Spotted Cat, Bamboula's, The Maison, Three Muses, The Dragon's Den, Rare Form, and at Fritzel's European Jazz Club (sitting in with the Fritzel's All Stars).

In the Philippines she performed with the Henry Katindig trio at the Seda Hotel, and with Joey Casal at the Wine Club. In Hong Kong she performed at the Orange Peel Nightclub courtesy of Jeun Nackorda and his band, and in Zurich at Jazz Barrage.
